Password format

  • Passwords are case sensitive.
  • Passwords must be 6–20 characters long.
  • Passwords must contain at least one character from at least three of the following four character sets:

    English lower case letters

    a, b, c, ... z

    Numerals

    0, 1, 2, ... 9

    Non-alphanumeric ("special characters") such as punctuation symbols

  • Do not include a space, a comma, or any of the following special characters < > &.
  • Passwords expire every 90 days (equals one cycle).
  • You can change a password before the 90 days expiry.
  • Passwords cannot be reused in the next 12 cycles.
  • You cannot use your user ID or the word “password”.
