Data Interchange (DI) Data Interchange is a set of cooperating applications used to replicate, manage, and monitor data between EMMS Energy Market Management System (formerly MMS); software, hardware, network and related processes. and a participant's RDBMS conforming to the MMS Data Model The definition of the interface to participants of data published by AEMO for gas or electricity. A database conforming to the Data Model can contain a local copy of all current participant-specific data recorded in the main database. The Data Model includes database tables, indexes, and primary keys.. AEMO Australian Energy Market Operator provides the applications to participants to assist with the replication of data to their systems. Successfully implementing and managing DI requires good IT skills, including planning, networking, database management, batch file management, and disaster recovery.
