View Constraints
The Constraints interface is a tool allowing participants to view constraint equation IDs in a human readable format. IDs used on the left and right-hand sides of the constraint equation are converted to a plain English description, for example:
"Q_DIRLK_H31MDNR_TRFMR" becomes "MW Megawatt flow on Molendinar 275/110kV transformer".
Participants can make use of this tool to obtain plain English descriptions of constraint equations associated with constraint sets.
Accessing View Constraints
From the left menu, navigate to MMS > Market Info > View Constraints.
If you have the correct access rights, the web application displays.
If you don't know who your company's PA Participant Administrator. Super-users who manage and perform system administration tasks for their own organisation’s participant users. is, contact AEMO Australian Energy Market Operator's support hub.
If you cannot see a menu item, it means you do not have access to the web application. Speak with your Participant ID Registered participant identifier; A company can have more than one Participant ID.'s Participant Administrator Creates and maintains access to AEMO systems for their Participant ID users. (PA) who can give you access rights.

Viewing constraints
- Type the constraint set ID in the Constraint Set field.
- Click the Constraint ID drop-down arrow and select the constraint ID from the list.
Alternatively, select All to display all constraint equation details belonging to the chosen Constraint Set. - Click Submit.
- The constraint definition displays with the plain English definition.
