How to use the Dispatch Bid/Offer Submission

Submission interfaces

You can submit and view Dispatch See National Electricity Rules Bids using the following interfaces:

Before attempting any changes or operations on production systems, AEMO encourages participants to use the pre-production environment to test procedures and to train Participant Users.

  • API to AEMO's e-Hub. For details, see NEM Dispatch Bidding API documentation.
  • FTP to your participant folders on the Participant File Server. Recommended for a large amount of Submissions (see Guide to FTP Energy, FCAS, and MNSP </span>).
  • To automate FTP submission of the Dispatch Bid/Offer Submission, you can set up Data Interchange (see Data Interchange Online Help).
  • Markets Portal > Energy & FCAS Bids web interface. Recommended for a small amount of Submissions, to enter Energy and FCAS Bids directly in the web interface. MNSP Registered Participants cannot input Bids directly in the web interface.
  • Markets Portal > Energy & FCAS Bids > Upload Bid File web interface to upload and submit MNSP Bids using a JSON schema Bid File. MNSP Registered Participants can only access the Upload Bid File interface only.
  • Markets Portal > Energy & FCAS Bids > Upload Bid File, if the FTP or API interfaces are unavailable you can upload Energy or FCAS Bids using a JSON schema Bid File.

    • Viewing or retrieving web submissions

    You can use the following interfaces to retrieve your Web Bid See Relevant Rules or Procedures submission file.
