Submissions

The Markets Portal Web applications for registered participants only. Requires access to MarketNet. contains an interface to upload a CSV file containing GBB or East Coast Gas System (ECGS) transaction data.

Before you begin

• Before submitting ECGS data, prepare the data file in CSV format using a text editor or third-party tool.
• If you open a text file with .CSV extension in Microsoft Excel, the date format changes to dd-MM-YY that is incompatible with the AEMO date format specification YYYY-MM-dd.

To upload a CSV file

1. In the Markets Portal, from the left menu, navigate to Gas Bulletin Board.
2. Select the company ID from the drop-down list. This is set to your company ID based on your login details.
3. Select the submission type from the drop-down list.
4. Click Upload CSV. The file explorer dialog displays.
5. Select the CSV file you want to upload and click Open. A CSV file can contain multiple records but only the file’s <TRANSACTIONNAME> component in the file that correlates to the transaction type selected is submitted. The selected file name is displayed under the Upload CSV button.
6. Click Submit to upload the CSV. If the file upload is successful, a confirmation message is displayed.
   
   If the file upload has been unsuccessful, an error message is displayed. See Validation messages for more information.
