Gas Bulletin Board

The Gas Bulletin Board (GBB) facilitates trade and informs efficient decision making in the east coast gas system by providing gas market and industry information on the AEMO Australian Energy Market Operator website.

Participants are required to comply with the procedures set out by AEMO, which define the communication interfaces and infrastructure for electronic communications between AEMO and participants to support the operation of the GBB. See the Bulletin Board Procedures.

Gas Bulletin Board IT interfaces

Participants can use the AEMO website and Markets Portal Web applications for registered participants only. Requires access to MarketNet. to interact with the GBB.

Participant access

Participants who undertake BB transactions must register with AEMO for access. Registered users can access the Markets Portal to upload transactions using the GBB Gas Bulletin Board. Provides gas market and system information covering all major gas production fields, major demand centres and natural gas transmission pipelines in New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania. interface. GBB coverage

The pipeline systems, facilities, and gas fields covered by the GBB include all pipelines that are connected directly or indirectly to the east coast gas system, covering all states and territories other than Western Australia.

GBB operation

AEMO as the BB operator processes the transaction files submitted and generates a list of reports detailed in the Guide to Gas Bulletin Board Reports. The reports are published on the GBB website and made available to users, who can either view or download them.
