Time frame rules
The Time Frame Rules As described in the CATS Procedures, the rules allocating the number of business days to the following categories: • Objection Logging Period. • Objection Clearing Period. • Retrospective Period. • Prospective Period. specify if a Jurisdiction participating jurisdiction (defined in the NER), Change Reason Code A code that identifies a type of Change Request. It defines rules such as what NMI information can be updated and which roles will receive a Change Request Notification each time the Change Request Status is updated., and NMI Classification Code A code identifying the type of consumer to which a NMI belongs, e.g. large or small wholesale generators. are a valid combination.
A Jurisdiction may specify the Time Frame Rules The National Gas or Electricity rules.. Unless stated otherwise, the Time Frame Rules apply to all Jurisdictions.
The Time Frame Rules specify:

If the Change Reason Code can make a Prospective or Retrospective Change.

The number of days in the future (Prospective Days) or the past (Retrospective Days) allowable for the Proposed Change Date.

The number of days allowed for Objections (Objection Logging Period), commencing from the next Business Day after the date the Change Request is Initiated

The number of days after an Objected Change Request is Cancelled (Objection Clearing Period), commencing from the next Business Day after the date the Change Request is Initiated.
