AEMO API gateway
To connect to the AEMO Australian Energy Market Operator's API Gateway Part of AEMO's API -e-Hub used by participants and AEMO to push or pull messages using RESTful APIs. Some APIs are accessible over the internet and MarketNet., participants need:
- access to MarketNet or the internet. For details about MarketNet, see Guide to Information Systems.

an AEMO-signed TLS certificate used for MTLS authentication.

an AEMO certificate authority trusted by your systems.

for some systems (such as Gas FRC Hub), your IP address range allow listed by AEMO. For more information, see the specific API and system documentation.

a Participant ID. If your company is a Registered Participant, it is set up during the registration process. Have a Participant ID with an effective date of registration.

a user ID and password with user access rights provided by your company's participant administrator.

Test your submission in the pre-production environment before submitting to production. AEMO encourages participants to use the pre-production environment to test procedures and train staff.
Participant usernames and passwords expire every 90 days.
