Net System Load Profile Methodology (NSLP)

The objective of the Net System Load Profile A profile of metering data aggregated across a specified set of connection points. (NSLP Net System Load Profile. A profile applied to convert all second-tier basic meter readings into energy consumption for each 30-minute trading interval for settlement purposes.) methodology is to convert Accumulation (basic meter) reads into 5-minute Trading Intervals.

AEMO Australian Energy Market Operator is introducing the following NLSP methodology changes:

• Produce a non-zero NSLP floor value for 13 Profile Areas

• Apply the NSLP floor value to all NSLP Trading Intervals (TI) below the NSLP floor value

• Update the NSLP floor values, effective start dates, and effective end dates for each Profile Area

• Publish the NSLP floor values to participants
