Markets Portal access
To access the GBB interface in Markets Portal:
- You must connect Energy Rules Terms to AEMO Australian Energy Market Operator's private data network Energy Rules TermsMarketNet AEMO's private VPN for Registered Participants. Submitting ECGS data
Before submitting ECGS data, prepare the csv Comma Separated Values. A file format for data using commas as delimiters. file using a text editor or third-party tool.
Note: If you open a text file with .csv extension in Microsoft Excel, the date format changes to dd-MM-YY which is incompatible with the AEMO date format specification YYYY-MM-dd
To upload a csv file:
- In the Markets Portal, from the left menu, navigate to Gas Bulletin Board.
- Select the submission type from the drop-down list.
- Click Upload CSV.
- Click Open to select csv file to upload. A csv file can contain multiple records but only the file’s <TRANSACTIONNAME> component in the file that correlates to the transaction type selected is submitted. The selected file name is displayed under the Upload CSV button.
- Click Submit to upload the csv. If the file upload is successful, a confirmation message is displayed.
Private Reports
The Private Reports interface displays private data for a facility from a selected gas date. You can export this data in csv format.
To view and export private data:
- In the Markets Portal, from the left menu, navigate to Gas Bulletin Board>Private Reports.
- In the Reports drop-down list, select the data report.
- Select the date in the date field.
- To properly view Expected Daily Gas Demand reports:
- For part 27 retailers, select the Demand Zone ID in theSelect Demand Zone ID drop-down list.
- For all other participants, select the Facility ID in the Select Facility ID drop-down list.
- Click Export to CSV. The csv file downloads to your PC.
The release includes five additional private reports:
